Every batter with a thousand runs at an average of over 50 is in.
Every bowler with fifty wickets at an average of under 30 is in.

Had he been fit all season, I suspect I would have voted for Bresnan. However for me it is between Leach and Jennings. I'll ponder for a little longer before voting.

I didn't name Tim's county because his appeal is cosmic rather than parochial.
But I'm going for Jack Leach, for shouldering the bowling burden of his team at a pretty young age, and history wouldn't have to change its course very much at all for him to have won his side its first CC. Brooks is runner up, and the Mighty Tim wins bronze.
