Lots of domestic choices to choose from this month, with a smattering of international contenders for good measure

Yuzvendra Chahal (India)

Chahal has been on the outskirts of the India team in the shorter formats for a while and has come to fruition in February. Only the one T20 game but his 6-25 vs England mor than justifies his inclusion on the shortlist.

Shadab Khan (Islamabad)

Players of great talent sometimes emerge in domestic T20 competitions, Shadab Khan is certainly one of them on current form. He has got 8 wickets at an average of 18.6 whilst also cropping up with the bat against Lahore where he scored 42.

Abhishek Nayar (Mumbai and West Zone)

Played more Domestic T20 cricket than most Indians this month as he participated in the Inter State Tournament for Mumbai and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for West Zone. His best performance came for Mumbai against Maharashtra where he got 3-23 and 20*.

Kevin Pietersen (Quetta)

A mixed bag for the ex-England man - however he sometimes pulled some big ones out of the bag. He scored 241 runs in his nine games but has averaged 37.5 in his 4 games in the last week.

Yasir Shah (Lahore)

The Pakistan bowler has got nine wickets across the eight matches he played for Lahore. His best figures came against Peshawar Zalmi where he got a staggeringly low 4-7.

Shane Watson (Islamabad)

The evergreen T20 mercenary has been blossoming nicely for Islamabad in the PSL. He has got 8 wickets at an average of 22.5 and scored 163 runs at an average of 20.4.

Amanda-Jade Wellington (Australia Women)

A good T20 debut series for Wellington sees her make the short list. She got nine wickets in three T20 matches at a very low average of 5.9
