How old is Rashid Khan?

The Afghanistan spin sensation has raised a few eyebrows, but not necessarily in terms of performance. His appearance is a question of debate and some reckon is true age is not that of 18 years old.

So my question to CMS users is, how old do you think Rashid Khan is? Is he older than 18 or has he had a tough paper round?

I would say his performances have raised a fair few eyebrows to be fair.

He looks late twenties. It seems like there is some hair loss going on.

Some photos of him do make him look his age but his cricinfo profile photo isn't kind to him. Makes him look older.

There are few people i know whose date of birth on paper is different to their actual date of birth. I wished one such friend happy birthday on 18th when i received email from HR but he said it is few days later.

In case of Pakistan players the difference is in years.

It matters a lot. This is considered as cheating. Cricket boards can suspend him for faking age. It has happened to few cricketers in Mumbai as well. They were made to undergo bone test when there was suspicion on afe of few cricketers who applied for Under 14 selection. Playing in Under 14 when someone is aged 16 will give advantage in selection. Similarly why should over 19 cricketer play in U 19 or other lesser age group matches.
