Is this the end for Chris Gayle?

Postby andy » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:52 pm

Been a great t20 player, and certainly had success at international level, with triple hundreds in tests, but is the big man finally coming to an end? Age and injury catching up with him, becoming a liability at the top of the order, and in recent times being left out quite a bit.... With RCB effectively out very early in IPL, and changes likely to follow, is Chris Gayle's time up?

never underestimate the ability of people to avoid facing up to the bleeding obvious when there is money to be made

he's been done for a couple of years now, apart from the very occasional spark, but those very fleeting glimpses of the player that he once was keep the dosh rolling in for him, and enables clubs to market him in order to put bums on seats.
