I think you should be loyal to a county that gave you a chance and invested in you.

Well the results. No one would have envisaged Stokes missing the Ashes.

17 at 27.82 - Anderson
6 at 37.66 - Overton
11 at 47.72 - Broad
10 at 49.50 - Woakes
2 at 100.00 - Curran
1 at 115.00 - Ball

Next time in Australia I think we will have something like Helm, Archer, Tongue, Stokes and Garton. Talk of the ECB changing the rules quite soon to allow Archer to play.

Wonder if the other options would have done better?
I always say that everybody's right.

Think if we had Roland-Jones and Stokes we might have a won a Test or two. They offer something different. Both bowl heavy balls, Stokes to make their batsmen hop around. Anderson did better than expected and I don't know what is wrong with Broad. For the last 4 years really good figures but 2017 his average was 36.06.

Im not sure Roland-Jones would have made much difference, very similiar bowler to Woakes, however i think Stokes may have made a bit of a difference
