Seems he got screwed maybe a little bit by the ICC forcing him to complete his residency under normal circumstances, as when he first arrived in Australia, he looked set to be a fixture in the national team with no other spinner about. When he was forced to wait a couple of years, Lyon came around and blocked his entry to the team.

Not sure if its realistic for him to target the LO squad, but good luck to him. Certainly had a very adventurous journey to where he is now, and he should be proud he managed to get an international cap or two in the end.

Its a shame he could not experience some success with the Australian team.

It might have helped to change some peoples opinions about certain issues in Australia.

The story of his background seemed well published before he got into the LOs team, but yeah, I guess its been forgotten as he drifted out. Didnt do very well when given his very limited opportunities.
