22 year old Suminda Lakshan is a real talent.

All-rounder. Narrowly avoided getting two centuries and a five-fer in his most recent match when he got out for 89. Is regularly picking up wickets and scoring over 50.

Can definitely see him pitching up for the national team at some point.

Gone back and looked at the players we've tipped here....Markram and Sundar have come good - obviously the former more than the later.

Shaw and Gill the jury is still out on.

The rest are still under the radar.

I agree, Josh Shaw is going to be the next best thing when it comes to seam bowling :halo:

Written about him in the Under 19 thread but Haider Ali is looking a very promising batsman. His scores on Pakistan's tour of India has been: 116, 18, 60, 160.

This can be added to scpres of 100 and 9- that he got on Pakistan's last tour to Sri Lanka.

Been watching a lot of the U19 series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh which has been a total whitewash for SL.

There has been some real stand out players for them.

At just 18 years of age, Dunith Wellalage is already turning out regularly for Lankan in all forms domestically but he has played an absolute blinder with the ball with 9 wickets in 4 games.

With the bat there have been some really impressive performances; some with big scores but Pawan Pathiraja has been Mr Consistent with his 175 runs. He is much greener than Wellalage but is certainly one to keep an eye on.

Can pencil in Chamindu Wickramasinghe to this list too. He got a classy looking century in the final game of the series.

A final score of 59 saw Shevon Daniel end up with the most runs with 222.

Nimesh Vimukthi is getting himself a bit of a reputation in white ball Sri Lankan Doenstic Cricket.

Destroyed Badureliya almost singlehandedly today for Panadura as they were rattled out for 85, Vimukthi getting six of them

Found myself watching Nepalese Under 19 cricket today and thought that one of the teams (Lumbini) had quite a tidy little outfit. A bit of research has gone on to show they have two very promising players in their ranks.

Firstly Dev Khanal who has bagged 202 runs in 5 innings and, perhaps more impressively, Mohammad Husen who has 7 more wickets than anyone else at 19. His fivefer in the game today obviously helped with that
