huh

I didn't know that 1. until recently he was alive, and 2. he was born in the UK. He was someone that I basically only heard of through my mum. Very, very rarely on the radio.
I think he was most famous here because he was the first from Aus to make it big in the UK.

He yodelled, didn't he? That'd be enough for him to get sent out of the country.

I'm very old school when it comes to Disney songs. The Sherman brothers wrote terrific songs for Disney, songs that had everyone singing them on the way out. Now my kids and grandkids and even Mrs DF really like the modern Disney trend of self affirming power ballads, but I can't stand them... at all. Maybe it's a bloke thing and I simply don't feel the need for self affirming anything, but they're as dull as ditchwater. One of the many enormous disappointments of the Poppins remake was the truly forgettable songwriting.... awful

The cold never bothered me anyway?
