What's buzzing in the world of cricket....

Amusing to see Indian players come out and criticise the facilities in the West Indies. Even more funny that Ashwin is being celebrated for speaking out about it.

The BCCI want to carve up their unfair share of the pie and leave smaller test nations scrapping for the crumbs, but get shitty when these countries don't provide state of the art infrastructure and roll out the red carpet for them.

You can't take all the money with CA and ECB then wonder why cricket is in a shabby state elsewhere.

Also Windies players made a stand years ago for better pay and conditions ....

India responded with legal action.....Didn't see any Indian players standing up for their colleagues.

Maybe Ashwin would be better to shut his cake hole.

Rovman Powell removed as T20 captain, Shai hope now captain in all white ball....an odd decision surely? Windies were 9th when he took over in T20 rankings and took them to 3rd bizarre...

Very strange decision.

Even stranger....

Pooran retired from international cricket at the grand old age of 29.

I see WI bowled 50 overs of spin in an ODI today. And won!

The ICC need to step in and strip Mirpur of International status, because its the third tour in recent memory where the pitches there have not been international standards, and they seemingly get progressively worse. The venue also seems to be a trainwreck full stop, because the floodlights also blew up fairly recently and caught on fire during a game. That pitch for the 2nd and 3rd ODI looked like it had been dug up from a WWI no man's land, and if I were WI I'd refused to even play on it.

BD don't seem to care at all. They keep defending these wickets as their right as a home team to produce wickets that help them win, and while I agree to extent, it's not good for the sport to produce wickets that dont reward skill.
