Got fifteen minutes into that and turned it off, ddb. Did it go anywhere? The person being interviewed liked to give long answers.

I haven't read the thread, so apologies if I tread on old ground.

For me, Cricinfo stands out by a mile for articles, coverage and the beautiful 'statsguru' for us nerdy types. Not all articles are great, but there is enough choice to weed the good from the bad according to personal taste. Cricket Archive is also an excellent site for dredging up scorecards and stats... I prefer it to Cricinfo for finding scorecards.

I don't bother with the dailys much nowadays, but enjoy reading most things crickety. I do have a problem with the likes of Times of India which is sensationalist, partial quoting drivel, very much akin to the UK tabloid press reporting football 'stories'.

Who needs Sky Sports when you can read live text commentary on your twitter feed, courtesy from Englands No7.

Personally I read the I for sports, quite succint and to the point but not too elongated with it's approach. I'll admit that it's not as exact or detailed as cricinfo for Cricket (personally I'd go for cricinfo for cricket) but for all round sports I'd choose the I if it was a newspaper. I find the BBC website is quite good for sports as a whole even if some of it's analysts and columnists are a bit poor at times.

Nice to listen to the charming Harsha Bhogle. Don't really get his commentary when India are here, but a reliable voice during World Cups etc.
