but again, that isnt his fault....he has done what has been asked of him...it's been cut short, but he cant control that, so he has served what was asked of him, now he's free to come back..

no im not saying that, but you keep telling me that he hasn't done his time, and im saying he has done the time that they have asked of him, if they cut it short it isnt his problem, but he has asked what was done of him..

You can still think it shouldn't have been cut short without supposing it was Amir's fault that it was.

I think he should have a life ban, as should all match/spot fixers. It isn't clear whether he'll have total freedom of movement just yet.

I don't think you can be that arbitrary about it. There has be some consideration regarding a player's role and circumstance in a situation.

Yes, if you had knowledge that others were fixing and you didn't report it, then a lesser punishment would be reasonable. But those involved in fixing should, in my view, be banned.

This case is mostly complicated by the fact it was a set up, but then there was evidence that the set up was using an existing crooked mechanism.

I use a paper towel and a product called "Resolve", it gets most spots fixed up.

Someone should have sent a bottle to Clinton.

All charges against the three cricketers accused of fixing in the 2013 IPL have been dropped, including ex Indian Test cricketer Sreesanth.

I wonder if anyone will be suprised when the banning of the two IPL fanchises will also quickly vanish.

Despite all three players having all charges against them dropped in a Court of Law, the BCCI is not going to remove the bans it imposed on them. Hard to know what to make of that to be honest.

I wonder if Pakistan will pick any of them against us.

I doubt Butt and Asif will ever return but Amir could get picked some time. This series is probably too early though.

It might be difficult for them to get into the UAE.

Pakistan have a strong pace attack at present, Amir would have to put in domestic performances to return.
