She is saying just a precaution...which may be fair enough but still if she had any concern over tightness around that previous injury (and I imagine she did else why come off on 48 with the game all but done ?) it has to be a worry. She really is vital to England's chances - as we saw after the loss of those three early wickets.

after a promising start, Scotland are now throwing their wickets at Hayley Mathews. Gone from 51-0 off 5, to 60-4 off 8

They had to do a lot of rebuilding, but Scotland took it pretty close, losing by 9 runs in the end

WI hugely underwhelming. Had they not hit 3 or 4 sixes very late on, Scotland would have had them on toast, even with the middle order collapse. Scotland needed 12 an over from about 4 or 5 overs out and only lost by 9, hindered by two separate injuries to their top scorer who simply couldn't run as a result and could only try to stand and deliver, hit four or miss, when they desperately needed to be able to run two's

WI with plenty to ponder, because that scorecard looks rubbish from their point of view

Thought some of the England bowling was a bit careless , perhaps because they had such a big run cushion ? Will need to be better in the semis.

Australia thumped SA earlier

SA were quietly fancied to do well in this, so Aus will be delighted to see them off so comprehensively. The pressure will now shift to India to do the same. At the group stage there can be only two!

and SA duly beat India, who still have to play Australia and unless SA do something utterly stupid, now have to beat them
