There are always two sides to a coin. I read about this on the net, and my conclusion is that he never played for Hampshire as he had a busy intl schedule, and the Notts Captain threw his kit and trashed it, so he had differences there.sportbloggeradi wrote:It is also a fact that he had issues with some English players. How is it a fact when you dont know what it is?sportbloggeradi wrote:Also i have observed he has issues with CSA, Peter Moores, Andy, Strauss, ECB .
Again with CSA, he never had issues as he never played for SA. was never in contention.He impressed members of Nasser Hussain's England side when playing for KwaZulu Natal in 1999; he took four top-order wickets and, despite batting at number nine, scored 61 not out from 57 balls, hitting four sixes.[38] Hussain then recommended that Pietersen secure a contract with an English county side.[39]
Despite the praise from the England side, Pietersen claimed he was dropped from the Natal first team. Pietersen felt that this was due to the country's racial quota system, in which provincial sides were required to have at least four non-white players.[4][40][41] Pietersen's view was that players should be judged on merit, and described it as "heartbreaking" when he was left out of the side, although he later reflected "it turned out it was the best thing that could have happened".[42] Pietersen has since firmly criticised the quota system,[43] which he feels forced him out of the country of his birth.
So according to you he never had issues even with Andy, Moores, ECB as well.
@tickerscricket
"And that's stumps on day one of the third Test, with England 312/1 thanks largely to that stunning unbeaten 163 from Team Unity."

When did I say that?

Why? There is no proof at all he had any issues with CSA. Neither CSA, nor KP, or anyone for that matter, including the press have said anything like that. So why speculate on something that doesnt exist?
He was not in the reckoning for national duty, he was playing as a bowler and was dropped due to racial quota. He did not like it, so came to England. He did have batting potential, and somehow clicked here.

I beleive he approached Australia first but they refused him a visa.

OSY, do you mean that he was keen to play for Australia as well ?

No, before he approached English clubs he applied for an Australian visa but CA wouldnt sponsor him, as he was classed as a spinner/tailender.
So he used his british passport under EU rules which meant that England couldnt refuse him a visa.

He was noted as a youngster with very clear potential as a spinner. In the CSA policy of the time 4 non white players were required in the squad, and on Durban tracks known more for pace bowling Natal did not have room for two spinners. Being a Cape Coloured Indian, Goolam Bodi was given the spot and KP lost his contract at Natal, vowing never to return to SA due to the system that forced him out. Bodi was actually felt to be the better batsman, averaging plus 30 in FC(although failed to make an impact as a bowler)
Bodi has represented South Africa in T20's, so for such a close pick being based on skin tone, you could argue that KP was expected to also one day represent South Africa.
And the no proof of he has any issues with CSA??? Is this a joke!!??! Him and Graham Smith nearly had a fist fight about remarks KP made about the CSA and the state of the qutoa system, something that the national board implemented!!
My arguement with Adi was that he did not leave SA because he had differences with CSA.
