SA will be relieved to get on the board after that first game disaster. Their NRR still going to need some more work though and they still have to play India and Australia.

65-3 in the 17th over...England going with attacking fields, ecclestone has a slip and silly point...plenty of turn and bounce in the pitch

Spinners doing the job - good assist from Jones with a couple of nice takes. Only snag is they are going to have to use the seamers later unless they can run through the rest of the innings soon. Pitch will suit the Bangladesh spinners too...

89/4 off 27 though : I will take that as a fielding team.

139-7 in the 44th over....mostary 59* but off 104 balls.....ecclestone and smith squeezed Bangladesh..rabeya has come in and looked to put the foot down but Bangladesh are gonna be way short of 200:here

Been some innings from rabeya 43 from 27 balls if a few other Bangladesh players had played like this they might have a competitive score ...178 all out

About twenty more than I thought they'd get...Rabeya did a great job for them late on.

Suppose that is vaguely competitive if the pitch aids their spinners : but honestly if England have any pretensions to challenging for this title they ought to be running it down without too much trouble. Won't be as easy as chasing 70 against SA though...

Don't see Sarah Glenn getting a game in this comp....Linsey smith is exceptional in the poerrplay....she has figures of 1-9 from 7 overs at one point....ecclestone is clearly a class above all of them bowls good pace and is getting ridiculous turn and bounce....she had a silly point in at one stage today.....Charlie dean is the point of difference bowling offies and offers a different angle too.....Capsey is a 4th option in the line up got through a lot of overs today and she bowls slightly different angle to dean and always seems to get wickets....haven't even needed to bowl lamb or knight yet...so I wonder if glenns spot could have gone to a late cross......a 2nd seamer will be needed.... sciver brunt looked slow and toothless today and went round the park...yes she got cheap wickets against SA but her days of being a frontline bowler are behind her....dean could bat7 and bring cross in for either lamb or Capsey to balance the attack out a bit
