Always so graceful in his stroke play-a pleasure to watch. Only became an established Test player when in his thirties-a lesson there for our present selectors.
Coincidentally his elder brother Ken,a past Gloucester captain, passed away last week.

Absolute joy to watch alongside the likes of May, Cowdrey, Dexter and Barrington.

RIP Tom - a wonderful player and great servant to English cricket.

Looking at around 18 consecutive hours of cricket, just a shame there is no cricket from 6pm to Midnight.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott
