This does seem strange as SL have not released the amount of flex Senanayake bowls at after his remedial action work. They are letting him bowl to practice his new action, but are not stating that its legal :hmmm

The worry I have is what happens if he is passed fit to bowl at the world cup, but starts to chuck again? If he gets called at the WC he can still bowl for another 20 days, which could have a major impact on the WC. Would SL have beaten England in the one day series with out Senanayake chucking?

I think if you've been banned and come back then if you get reported again within the next year or 2, you're immediately banned again.

Is this true? If so again i could imagine it creating a huge up roar at the world cup. There is a chance he wont be chucking as well, but if he got called then he would not be able to bowl?

Well this clamp down has to be a good thing. Though not for the players who have probably been encourage to bowl a certain way. Certainly unfair on them

I suppose that there is always the risk that he gets 'called' on reputation even if his action then proves to be just legal

If elite umpires have been found to be incapable of calling someone with 40 odd degrees of flexion, then that suggests that they might not have a clue as who is, and who isn't, chucking

Not before time, he's been chucking every time I've seen him bowl.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Hafeez can bowl in international cricket, but just not BCCI events!

I suppose he has to get reported playing for Pakistan to be stopped throwing for them. Should Pakistan bowl him under that circumstance though?

You would think not. But then how can he be cleared to play if not reported by the ICC?

If the BCCI have called him, then presumably Hafeez can just avoid the Champions Trophy. Which would leave a tricky situation for him, the ICC and the PCB. Presumably, he's going to get called next time he bowls for Pakistan.
