If you get reported, you have a period of time you can continue for until you are tested. But you have to be tested within that time in order to keep bowling after the period ends. At the moment, he's at the reporting stage. It's up to him to arrange to be tested.

I thought if a board banned a player he is automatically banned by all boards. Maybe that only applies for match fixing.

Yeah only his quicker balls. To be fair his action looks okay when he bowls offies, when he tries quicker or carrom balls thats where the problem starts.

Narine has been placed on the tournament's 'warning list' but will still be able to play. However, if he is reported again while still on the warning list, he will be suspended from bowling for the remainder of the tournament. Narine claimed figures of 3 for 33 in his four-over spell during the win over Dolphins. The Knight Riders next match will be in the tournament semi-finals on October 2. He is the fourth bowler to be reported during the tournament, joining Mohammed Hafeez and Adnan Rasool of Lahore Lions and Prenelan Subrayen of Dolphins. Being reported in the CLT20 has no impact on a bowler's participation in international cricket."

It was just a matter of time...his carrom ball was really dodgy.

He's been reported for his quicker ball, not carrom ball.
