Your comment was in answer to a post I made about the difference in treatment BEFORE the retirement issue of KP, and of Anderson, both who made rather silly attacks on ex-cricketers... I dont understand why the texts are relevant, its a completely separate issue.

You opinion seems to have been that the ECB looked into their crystal ball and preempted text messages from the future, and that justifies their reason to fine KP for a pretty nothing situation... your getting your wires crossed D/L.

You always thought Shanky made illogical and nonsense comments, so why would it surprise you that he tweeted nonsense(as per you) comments?

Well done D/L :clap

Again sussex Anderson hasnt attacked anyone, hes simple expressed an opinion based on his experience, when will you get that into your somewhat armour plated cranium and accept that there is a difference between expressing an opinion and feelings and being downright rude, such as KP was in regards to Knight, who had suggested KP should have have been dropped from the limited overs games, and if I remember correctly this is something that KP actually wanted to do himself anyway.

I still don't see why people are attempting to compare Anderson's comments about a former skipper who now happens to be a commentator and KPs comments about a commentator who happens to be a former player.

I hope we're not getting too steamy, chaps. It is a game we're talking about, after all. We don't have to share the same opinions, but we do need to stay cool.

No, I think you need to look closer to home for the crossed wires, sp, but never mind.

As I said, I voiced no opinion on the Knight and Vaughan criticisms.

It's certainly has and feelings are beginning to run higher all the time. If the stories in the media are true this thread is getting like the atmosphere in the England dressing room when KP is present.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Meh, take it as you will as I'm sure you'll put the blinkers on and read whatever you want into it as you seem to do with most points that are made depsite being logical.

The simple fact is that the JA's opinion of Vaughan, Swanns opinion on what had happened in regards the big Moores/KP spat and KP's twitter outburst are all mutually exclusive. but its something that you dont seem to be able to get into you own head due to afore mentioned blinkers on anything that is not in praise of KP.

I don't think this relaxed attitude to conflict is anywhere near enough. I want to see suspensions and fines. That will send a message out and calm everything down.

Wonder what a 606 discussion on this subject would have been like. There would be barbed wire around the thread by now.

Suspensions we can do. Fines might be a bit tricky.
