Root is another. And Stokes. They're probably just saying it to suck up to Peter Moores.

Tim's not a fan though!

Alastair Campbell's from the north and it wouldn't surprise me if he saw Pietersen as a kindred spirit.

I can see that one working out well. The troika that is KP, Campbell and Morgan enjoying drinks in a dark cave.

KP has now been dropped by IPL franchisee. KP captained Delhi Daredevils during the second half of IPL 2014 and flopped as a captain as well as individual batting was concerned. Subsequently he will be available in auction pool and DD or other franchisees might be looking to buy him only at a lower price.

Looked a bit scratchy to me. I guess he's not played for a while.

He did. He worked his way into the innings though.

Servicable innings, obviously not a matchwinning one though.

KP doesn't play enough cricket. It was a tad egotistical to think you could get away playing so few games a year and still stay in match touch. KP admitted this at the end of the season this year.

Carbs has just spoken about the winter and an ECB leak that KP was critical of him in the dressing room.

As I said on social media, this so-called ‘altercation’ that myself and Kevin Pietersen are supposed to have had, well, I guess I’m still waiting for that memo from the ECB to make me aware of this altercation because it’s news to me.

I’ve known Kevin a long time, since he came over from South Africa, and I don’t think in the years we’ve played with or against each other, we’ve ever had a cross word. He’s arguably one of the greatest batsman I’ve ever seen and England has ever produced. He was generous with his time and his advice on the tour. That went for anyone else who was on the trip as well.

He sounds in a low place generally. Hope things pick up for him in the BBL.

It's interesting that those who are outside of the center circle seem to pour water on much of the spin from the ECB.

could also argue, I suppose, that the ones outside the inner circle are the ones with the aidan sized axes in need of a good grind.

On the whole, I prefer to believe the ones on the outside to the ones on the inside, for no better reason than a dislike of most things 'establishment'.

It is at least true that those who disparage KP have something to gain from it, but those who defend him, do not.

I think one or two have their own axe to grind.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
