Totally irrelevant here but I thought I'd mention it.

No idea if Stewart is trust worthy or not, but he always did seem a decent chap.

If this is true, then KP does have a case IMHO

He supports Chelsea.... #justsaying

In all seriousness though, not sure a rather likeable player would risk public reputation to lie for KP and be untrue.

Maybe Stewart was told a lie?

The Media Column, the very occasionally funny bit on Cricket365.com every Friday, was taken to task last week for claiming that Matt Prior cheerleader-in-chief Alec Stewart is also Prior's agent. In fact, Stewart is no longer Prior's agent.

In 2004, Stewart became a founding director of Arundel Promotions with specific responsibility for player management and representation. Cricket playing clients include Paul Collingwood, Ian Bell, Ashley Giles and Matt Prior.[8]
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

If ever I mention 'governance' in company most people's eyes glaze over - that is the one's that aren't already asleep.

The slightest hint of gossip however soon wakes them up.

Don't expect any change at the ECB.

Aggers has taken some stick on twitter over this. However the person who got so angry he suggested Aggers be the first UK victim of the ebola virus was out of order.

That's why Alec Stewart got involved. Becuase he told the ECB about this, with Bailey revealing that Bres, Swann and Broad having passwords. Stewart spoke out, he says, because he feels that Bailey denying this impugns his integrity.

Graeme Smith backs up bullying claim.

Graeme Smith coming out is an interesting one, simply because him and KP have a well documented history of not getting one terribly well

320 pages. Made from sustainable sources. £10 in hardback.

The picture is in muted colour with the vibe of classic black and white. Like a crop of an Armani advert, or one of those he does for watches.

Kevin is pictured in torso. His characteristic effeminate caveman look is discernible, but hidden behind a huge conveyance of concern. He looks older than he should, the penalty for earning his living out of doors. But he looks worried, and very serious, like he has something important to tell us. Like a messenger in a tragedy.

This copy smells only faintly of a book. The cover suggests it should smell of a rather manly aftershave. Maybe it is too new to smell yet of a book.

It starts off with a well known analogy of a person being out of step with the world, but blaming the world. He's telling us, he understands how we see him, and he wants to include us in the telling of the story.

But on the back cover, it makes clear this is the story of a victim.

When Smith backs up the 'bullying' claim, what is he referring to? I take it the bowlers shouting at the fielders.

Ironic seeing it was Smith's team that brought the crisis to a head with the leaked texts. But it would have got there anyway.
