England win by 7 wickets

Pretty crushing win. That NZ innings fell apart at the start and just kept falling ... have to say the England bowling and fielding was excellent but with Devine failing for once NZ looked very much outclassed.

It was a t20 so one game could perhaps be regarded as a freak ; except that apart from Devine and Green in that second match their batting was overall rubbish - not a good omen for their chances in the WC.

England probably still with the odd question around the batting (and definitely hoping NSB is fit to play !) but the bowling seems to be in a good place...

Not sure there's much hope for NSB (I hope I'm wrong), but at least DWH has become available again. She might not have played international cricket, or even T20 cricket for a while, but she was a run machine in the tier one matches earlier this season, coming in lower down the order, so could be a very useful asset

Apart from Australia, who are the runners and riders do we think?

I'm quite happy for Charlie Dean to be captain she seems a lot more comfortable in the role......I think it's India or Australia don't see anyone else challenging to be honest...

After being 7-2 after the first over India have raced to 120-2 after 12 overs

When I watched Wong last year, she looked genuinely quick, but that generally made her easier to score off if she got it wrong

pace off the ball, for me in T20

She was also a hopeless fielder, but a decent bat
