This sounds like a Thai subject talking about their king, or a North Korean press release.

Yes, since decades .

I thought Sanath was the master blaster...

Even though that was Viv Richards' nickname?

I'm not doubting SRT's talent and achievements, just commenting on how deferential the quote sounds.

Maybe VIV was also called as master Blaster like Sanath and Sachin. However, i am not aware because i did not watch cricket when VIV batted. So total 3 Master blasters.

OK, only ever heard Viv called it. I thought Tendulkar was The Little Master...

Jack Hobbs being The Master.

Bradman's The Don, has to be the least boastful nickname ever.

Apparently ticket cost is now unofficialy atleast 30 times due to Sachin's last test. In some cases fans are buying it at 50 times the cost.

Ravi and Lara are on one channel talking about Sachin. On the other channel Gavaskar is telling memories of Sachins innings etc. All channels grabbing every opportunity to increase the TRP .I wonder what it will be like on last day of the test match.

Well, he is out to bat. The crowd is going wild.

I hope for their sake he gets a decent, but not great, score.

Well he has played very nicely in that session. Looked relaxed once he got settled and struck some sweet boundaries.

Even if he comes out early tomorrow , the crowd that was there today won't feel short changed with that little innings. Hope he goes on with it though...would be nice to see him sign off in style.

He'll be signing off in style all right, having just been handed a top level BCCI central contract.

Ha! Zaheer and Sehwag have lost their contracts, so they really must be finished.

Shame he didn't get the hundred. A poor shot really, but he played some lovely ones this morning.
