Strauss says that the new coach must agree with him on KP.

And 'must agree with me on the importance of trust'.

This sounds a bit menacing. Like dialogue written for Harry Grout in Porridge.

Gayle and KP might be good friends, but there are differences between the two when it comes to the nature of their conflicts with their respective boards....

It seems to be a case of never mind how the team does, just keep KP out.

I don't know how Cook can stand the heat because he now has to hit a decent score every innings. Otherwise the hacks will be on his back like a shot.

The hacks have been curiously uninterested in Steely's batting horrors. They've pretty much ignored them. Though according to Simon Hughes, KP's last ten Tests were terrible. When he averaged eight more than Cook and scored a ton.

Lord McLaurin has put his tuppence worth into the debate saying he agrees with Strauss' decision.

Strangely he has a pop at KP's form in the last Ashes series despite the fact everyone else failed with the bat bar one century from Stokes.

Broad says KP has been helpful to him, and differences between the players 'are exaggerated'.

A lot of difference in the quality of batting too.

A rare miss from Tony that. Don't really understand his point here.

I can't understand when some journalists keep saying KP has problems with his teammates. I see Broad too has no issues now. So who are these teammates? Cook?

Initially it was Flower. KP didn't like Prior, but I thought KP came out looking worse over that one. Cook and Strauss are the problems now.

As the ECB is appointing and retaining on an anti-Pietersen agreement, there's no wonder Kevin is a problem.
