http://www.privateinternetaccess.com and it works pretty well - can access my Sky Go account at home as well as BBC and ITV Iplayers and BT Sport. Can hook my laptop to the TV via HDMI cable as and when I wish.
Early days but good so far.
how does that work - doesn't it set you up with a US IP address, so i would have thought that Sky Go would block that?
It gives you the option to connect to their servers in several countries, including about 8 in the US, 2 in the UK, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Canada and a few more. I pay monthly by Pay Pal and can cancel anytime - keeps it away from my bank. I watched the Russian Grand Prix last week plus several football matches on both Sky and BT sport.
My Sky Go Desktop is the best method because I can access virtually all of my Sky account in the UK. My gripe is that considering how much I pay for Sky at home in the UK, I should be able to access it without all this - like the BBC they claim to be worldwide but they are not!
Hope that helps.
