Geez I hate the Channel 9 commentary team. Ironically the worst of the lot is Mark Nicolas - the Pom (although they usually have Bumble too), but Mark Slater gets on my nerves too.
I would listen to TMS/Grandstand with the TV feed, but they're out of sync so I get the commentary for each ball 10 seconds or so before it is bowled on the TV screen. Good old digital media.

When Slater was picked up by channel 4 he was good, but quickly fell into being a moron when surrounded by his mates...ian healy is untolerable, as is Mark nicolas, but Mark taylor is very good imo, and I personally don't mind warney

What is it with commentators named Mark - they've got Waugh as well. He's not too bad, neither is Mark Taylor.

No Blofeld mentioned here. :)

Mark Nicholas destroys your theory.
I meant they appear to have four Marks, which is a lot - Nicholas, Slater, Waugh and Taylor. It wasn't supposed to be a commentary on their quality. Some are worse than others...

Wonder if subscriptions will go up after the football deal. They are already remarkable.
