The 5 tests are really condensed - there will be very little recovery time between tests. This is really stupid from the BCCI - Eng have much more strength in depth on seamers, who are the people that this will affect the most, so they can rotate. Ind don't have the luxury so this is going to put a lot of workload on Umesh and Bhuvi, which is exactly what causes injuries.

Yeah. The workload is a concern although with England pushing the SL series, they'll be having virtually 7 back to back tests. Their workload will be bigger though they have greater depth in fast bowling.

Of course, it is just a bit of wishful thinking on my part.

Although the venues give me hope. Old Trafford and Oval have been dry for a quite few years now. Lord's is flat and the Ageas Bowl has seen some humungous totals being scored in recent limited overs matches.

yes, he's still in the squad for our NZ series - thinking about it, he's quite similar to Tremlett and Rankin's bowling at the moment

yeah, but I think the rest of the tour produced 1/284 or something ... not sure the Eng schoolboys second XI would be too worried tbh
