One thing I would be looking forward to though, Stokes as captain. Maybe Root would insist on going in case he loses the captaincy.

Now I read that Dobell says full strength team because they need match practice before SA and they will rest from the white ball players. Think Giles wasn't happy with the idea of resting players.

I thought they were delaying the new contracts until February, because the ECB have spent all the money on the hundred and haven't got any left to pay the players decided to align the central contracts with the start of their accounting year
