The best bowler in the world right now, no higher compliment can be given with the quality of some of the bowlers around the world. Its just ashame his juggernaut has come in his early 30s and not 6 years ago, the question is though how long will he be around for and how dependant are the aussies on him?

It's not only MJ we're dependent on, but also Ryan Harris. In the not too distant future, we'll have Mitchell Starc and Jackson Bird (and possibly Pat Cummins), so I think we'll be ok. In Starc, I think we have someone who will develop into one of the players of his generation. I'd give MJ 2 more years before he rides off into a T20 sunset.

MJ is a very fit player, as long as he can keep his direction i can see him around for a bit.

Should he stay injury free, maybe we can expect 350 test wickets from him?

I'm looking forward to a montage of all the wickets that he takes for Durham this summer :halo:

Mitch has said he's considering retiring from all limited overs cricket after the world cup, to prolong his test career.
