Is Peter Moores the right man for the England Job

Colly apparently is not a fan of Moores, if PM gets the job perhaps Colly won't be joining the coaching team after all. Assuming of course that the reports the two didn't see eye to eye were true.

He was unpopular with most of the players. Anderson has defended him. Seems a crazy decision to me. Not even sure why Moores should want to take over with the team at a low ebb and risk being a two time loser. Good pay i suppose, but lots of hassle.

He may well feel that his previous spell is a blot on his reputation and want the opportunity to put that right.

I did read somewhere that Moores is a fan of Carberry, and Moores being appointed was Carbs best hope of still having an international future.

Turned out very badly for Giles. He didn't endear himself to me with his constant corporate jargon. But he had a lot go against him.

Moores record was not so good the first time, lost at home to SL, India and SA and all wins came against WI and NZ. Hardly inspires confidence that he's the man for the job on that record.
Giles must be wondering what hit him, Morris and Flower were in charge when he took over the one day teams and was no doubt given a nod and a wink that the coaches job was his for the taking when Flower left. Then suddenly Morris is replaced by Downton and Flower goes leaving him high and dry to carry the can for the dire position England found themselves in.
