So its all over. Not sure Indians will be happy about it. Interesting to see how they respond… with a brilliant on field performance (a la Perth 2008) or mouthing off to the press about the unfairness of it all?

not sure why India would be so insistent on trying to get hold of the CCTV evidence then. IMO it looks like a pathetic case of Anderson getting away with it by getting his team-mates to lie for him - but, as I said, on the first day when the story broke ... I had every confidence that no action would be taken against Anderson.

if that was the case ECB will be on it as well, this series is worth 2 or 3 times more than the ashes.
If it did get the same level of rivalry of the Ashes it would be worth a lot more to ECB, so it is quite beneficial for both parties to create a rivalry.

Considering you were not present Red I think accusing the England players of lying is out of order.

Weirdest thing is that both players should be at least charged at level 1 or in Anderson case level 2 if he admitted pushing Jadeja.

Enough evidence for the level one charge, level 2 could be tricky.

If Jadeja did 'provoke' Anderson, that was under duress of Anderson's sledging, and verbal aggression on leaving the field. It's all pretty ordinary (as the Aussies say) but maybe in future the umpires might think of stopping this at source. Though it's sad they should have to.

Nice one ddb. There's one thing which keeps being pointed to and that's the length of the hearing, when it appears that it took 6 hours mainly because there were problems with the Skype link breaking down rather often.
