Maybe the time has come to have separate red/white ball captains?
Broad didn't appear to have a problem playing tests/odis under someone else as T20 captain. So if Cook (or any future test captain) merit a place in the white ball team, why should he necessarily have to be captain if that too?
Pick the best XI, then the best captain from those players.
It appears to me that the ECB place too much importance on the whole captaincy issue.
Sports broadcasting media nut miscast as a hard-working family man. Or should that be the other way around?
