Gilles Clarke is to be replaced by Colin Graves in January, Colin is not the one to toe the line and will say it like it is.

Have they had an election? I thought this post was won by election?

I don't see why an socially unrepresentative environment should throw up a particularly different kind of prominent member.

Not sure but I can't see Colin Graves tolerating this current shambles, particularly when he publically criticised Yorkshire players for the clubs relegation in 2011.

Thinking about it further, he also bemoaned about stagnating membership numbers the following year.

Naturally the ECB is a different organisation to that of YCCC, but Colin Graves doesn't strike me as a yes man.

Cricinfo is saying that while Giles Clarke isn't likely to be retained, he hasn't conceded yet. And there is the rumour that he will make a new role for himself, Putin/Flower style.

I reckon a common criticism of his last book was that there was very little on field stuff covered. So I expect this one will cover best-XI-I've-played-against territory.
