Another achievement for him. Won ODI series versus a very strong England ODI team in England this year.

He is the most biased Indian captain i have seen. There is clear bias in team selections. Also, his strategies are awful in terms of consistency. In few instances he has dropped the best performer of the playing 11. Examples are Bhuvi and Kuldeep. They were worse than blunders. It was horrible. It will be very tough for India to win even one ODI cup or T20i cup under his captaincy.

Shastri is another member of think tank who is supporting Virat in his blunders. Both of them need to be sacked from captaincy and coach positions respectively.

Ravi *modded* Shastri has always been a sycophant. That always came across as a pundit/interviewer

Just in his nature, I suppose

Virat is a big draw now in terms of marketing for broadcasters and sponsors. His clout is too strong. I am not saying that other Indian captains at their peak where saints, but Virat is crossing limits. Rhiti sports management and the Bunty group are now two main parts. Dhoni too had stake before in franchisee but there are lot more games happening by the sports management agencies in Indian cricket. Virat is supporting Shastri because Shatri is totally a "Yes boss" kind of person now. He has no guts to question Virat. So Shastri will keep enjoying the big pay check until he keeps saying "Yes Boss". He will be in favor of a safari in SA rather than the extra warm-up match. It is the partnership fo Virat- Shatri which is causing more downfall to our performances in SA, Eng, NA and maybe even Aus. But then cricket is much more than sport, especially in India it has become a huge business opportunity. No wonder these things will creep in gradually and we will see increased corruption and stupidity like in other professions.

that would mean that 9 out of 33 times he has lost the toss, India have gone on to win.

Virat's first test series win in SENA in his 4 years of captaincy. Finally, he has tasted a highly rated series win. Well done to win the test series in Australia against Australia by 2-1 :clap

Although he did not have FAB4 / FAB 5 in squad, he does has a very strong pace attack with good pace bowlers in domestic cricket. The "A Tours" by Team India have increased and i feel Virat will be helped as the newbies will atleast not be on their first tours overseas whenever they are selected. The openers Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal are expected to do well. We have more number of home test series this July onwards. Virat will be looking to rest / rotate Jasprit, who is now one of the top bowlers in international cricket. His workload needs to be managed while we continue to develop other promising pacers.

"A special mention to Pujara," Kohli said at the trophy presentation. "He has been outstanding this series, after the kind of series he had last time when he came here. He's one guy who was willing to accept things, take it in his stride, work on his game. He's one of the nicest guys around. I'm happy for him."

The contribution of bowlers, too, was immense. "I have one word to say and that is, I am proud," Kohli said of the bowling unit. "I feel great standing in the slip cordon watching these guys. I didn't have to tell Bumrah yesterday to bowl at 149 clicks with the old ball to a No. 11. It was his decision. You can see that hunger, you can see that passion. And we would put everything on the line to win for the team. That's why those numbers come on the board. If you just want to put numbers on the board then you won't even get the numbers or the wins. You strive for team goals, team excellence and help the team in any way possible and then those special things happen.

"You don't need to tell the guys to run in and bowl with full intensity or full effort. They take ownership of their skills and you can see the way they bowl, they set their own fields. They are dictating terms now and this is the most amazing thing you can ask for from your bowlers, especially fast bowlers. When they are happy and firing you always feel like you can win anywhere in the world and you can beat any side in the world anywhere. In the last 12 months I would rate their contribution far above the contribution of any of the batsmen. Hats off to their effort."

Expected this and i am very happy that BCCI too has started to manage his workload. :clap Excellent move by Virat who must have informed the selectors about resting one of his top player. Good captaincy.

Jasprit is now rested for LOI series between Australia and NZ.

Today's victory sees Kohli become the most successful captain in overseas Tests.

His twelve victories surpasses Ganguly's

With all the power to have a say in retaining non performing coach, he still cannot take a decision on Dhoni. That decision probably is out of his scope.

How could he drop Rishabh Pant who had outscored Virat Kohli on your to Australia which was a historic win. Also Rishbah Pant made some wicket keeping record on that your.

Like Virat's selection in this test playing 5 bowlers.
