Some of the press seem to assume that Rogers only has to be asked and he'll stay on. Journos writing post Ashes XIs just stick him in at one. Given the demands of the game on your personal life, I think it's a lot to ask, that someone should carry on beyond the point he wishes to do it.

And of course, not very encouraging to those who are working hard to take his place.
