On TMS last night the commentators tried to pick the team of the tournament. This is what they came up with:

Pretty hard to argue with that selection.

That's also the ICC team of the competition.

Did Faulkner score any runs? Going to work, so can't check. He was pretty hittable too. Bowled well in the final.

He's taken 10 wickets including Dilshan and Sagakkara, 3 wikets v SL, 3 wickets in the semi v India and 3 in the final, so against the strongest opponents. He's probably shown himself to be the best death bowler on display. This is besides beind a dangerous finisher.

Fair enough. He seemed to get hit at the start of the innings and bowl well at the end. Lack of runs may be down to opportunity.
