Aus in the last 30 years have not had a good left arm spinner, so got to rely on the Batsman rolling their arms over. Not unlike the Windies in the 80's.

Guess the articles written for the younger generation.
No Harvey? Is that supposed to provoke a reaction? Not from me good Sir, when one of England's and more importantly the Red Roses' greatest batsmen doesn't warrent a mention in any list.
Fairbro?
Who from the Red Roses could replace Harvey at number 3 in a world 11 of left handers?
Eddie Paynter, naturally.
I don't think either would make it past Pollock, Lara or Sangkarra for a place in the top five mind. With Flower or Border at six and Sobers at seven.
Then it's simply a toss up between whether you play a proper gloveman in Marsh or 4 bowlers.

We've had some all time great lefty spinners; Xavier Doherty, Michael Beer, Ashton Agar. All three would walk into any other Test team... or not.

Lehman

All rounder and spinning duties to be done by Lehman and Border. Very good batting line up that could be moved around, but after Reid and MJ the bowling might be a little light. Bowling line up would do well against the 80's windies teams. Seem to remember them not being to fond of left armers.......
Also looking at the BBC list, how did MJ and Vass get in ahead of Alan Davidson?
I'd probably go with;
Matt Hayden
Dave Warner
Justin Langer
Mike Hussey
Allan Border (c)
Adam Gilchrist
James Faulkner
Steve O'Keefe
Mitchell Johnson
Mitchell Starc
Bruce Reid

Would he have to bat 7-11?

To be fair, assuming your right handed pace attack has some names like Holding, Marshall, Ambrose.... id love to see Clarke survive a few overs of hostile short paced bowling from very quick pacers, he would end up averaging like a tailender.
