Malcolm Nash 74

former Glamorgan skipper

the bowler famously hit for the first six sixes off the over by Sir GS

I think I thought he would have been older than that, tbh

Abdul Quadir has died. He would have only been in his early 60's, I reckon.

First one I remember. He was a wizard. I was stunned by what he could do.

Prominent UK cultural figure Jonathan Miller has died at 85, most famous for Beyond the Fringe (with Alan Bennett and Pete and Dud) and TV Shakespeare. But for me, he means the amazing sixties tv production of MR James' Whistle and I'll Come to You which he adapted and directed.

dropping like flies. Rhodes appears to have banged his head at work hard enough to have initiated a full blown CVA

I liked Clive James all those years ago. He had one of those voices that I could have listened to all day. I even read one of his books once.... Beautiful Creatures, I think

One of England's bowling greats, and produced one of the great fast bowling spells ever against Australia in 81. Perhaps a little underrated I think, a big trier who often was prepared to bowl when injured over a long career.

Wasn't aware he was ill.

A matter of taste I think as a commentator/panellist. But wasn't unwilling to send himself up. He'll be remembered with respect and affection I think by followers of my generation.
