He had a central part in the first episode of Chernobyl recently, a bit of drama TV that ranks alongside anything I can think of watching in the past. For that alone he will be a memorable actor for me.

he didn't look like a man who was going to make it to his 100th birthday, in truth

Looked ill for a while, had been in and out of hospital

What did he die of?

His spell in hospital was for cardiac problems, so maybe he left in order to die at home?

At least it will be fun watching the funeral after Harry just sh8t on his own doorstep, and now has to inevitably return.

Reading about her. Article says in the 1983 election, proto Lib-dems (SDP and Liberal alliance) got 25% of the vote and 23 MPs. Crazy.

Would be good for Labour as they have natural alliances. I think Labour will adopt PR, it's the only way to stop continual Tory governments with a majority conjured from a minority of the votes.

I don't. Blair gave them 3 terms in power by cobbling a majority from 42, 43, 44 percent of the vote. They would only go for it if they believed they were never going to win again without it..... and that's back in Lib Dem pre-2010 territory
