I don't know. Not a great fan, but he is very well respected in French speaking communities, and also in Armenia..... But then again, Armenia's seem really proud of Kim Kardashian

Georges Loinger has died at 108, a activist in the French resistance in WW2 he helped at least 350 Jewish children cross the border into Switzerland.
Curiously, a cousin of Marcel Marceau the famous French mime artist- also a member of the resistance.
