Tom Westley not even the 3rd best opener in the Essex team/squad.

Browne looks impressive in todays game where as Westley struggling in a flat pitch.

Westley seems very bottom handed batsman, reckon if he gonna make the switch in international cricket he needs to learn how to score of good/ok deliveries, currently it seems he can only score runs of bad balls.

seems like you have it in for Westley?? i'l admit that his record isn't flattering, and that he hasn't scored stacks of runs in recent seasons...however this year he has scored plenty of runs, has finally looked like he has got his whole game together, and is playing beautifully...do i think he is ready for england call-up?? No i don't..do i think he will ever play for england? no i don't...but england's loss is Essex's gain..and as an essex fan, im more than happy to keep watching him score runs at chelmsford...good player who bowls useful part time off spin, he is now a key part of this strong essex batting line up
