Anyone buying any tickets from the ballot.

At the moment buying
3 Platinum India vs Pakistan Tickets
2 Platinum India vs Sri lanka
2 platinum India vs South Africa
2 platinum Semis at Cardiff
2 platinum Semis at Edgebaston
2 platinum final

ticket prices are not too bad for it, quite a lot of 20-40 pound tickets although they mostly bronze and silver coloured seats.
Gold are decent price, went with platinum in the end since I Thought it may give me and my sister a better chance of getting tickets since if platinum is sold out they move you down if tickets are available.

Tempted to buy tickets for some of the non england/india games but they won't sell out and ticket will still be available in December so might get them in the general sale. NZ vs Australia in particular looks tasty.
Think only Knockout games all india/England games will be a sell out before the general sale.

Have applied for 6 matches (5 at the Oval and Ind v Pak). All at silver level, so cheap with student price. Even the highest price band are still cheaper than England tickets this summer.

Yeah tickets have been well priced for the tournament, should be the same thing in 2019 considering ICC always price the games fairly.

Good luck with the tickets.

Ballots for Champions Trophy tickets?

Don't remember there being a ballot for the 2015 World Cup tickets, though there was a special pre-sale. Don't intend in going to any of the CT games, but Australia v New Zealand at Edgbaston is quite tempting.

think they doing it because of the smaller stadium and the fact they don't want the India vs pakistan game to sell out in 10 mins.
guessing the site can't cope with all the demand it gets for the massive games like india vs pakistan, England vs Australia and the final.
Do remember reading reports of the 2015 site and the last champions trophy having teething problems when they were selling tickets.

Guessing they want a more fairer way of getting india vs pakistan game than being lucky in a 30 minute window where the website is likely to crash as well.

last time out in 2013 india vs pakistan sold out in 30 minutes, with the 2015 game selling quick as well.

Anyone successful only got one game the 2nd semi final, maybe the strategy for platinum wasn't the best way to get ticket, will now have to get all the India games through the black market or if ICC release more ticket, since I believe ICC only made a small amount of ticket available in the ballot which explain why all the games ended up in the ballot system.

hearing loads of people missed out on tickets.
Highly doubt interest was high enough to suggest all the games were 2 or 3 times sell out, guessing ICC only made 20-30% percent of ticket available in the ballot.
wonder what they will do with the other ticket, I know sponsors get ticket and they keeping some or a lot for the ICC travel packages but still disappointed didn't get one india game.

Not sure I like the ballot system anymore lol.

I've got 4 tickets to the Eng v Ban opening game, the Ind v SA game and the final - all at the Oval and all in the family stand

a lot better than the Olympics and next years Athletics championships where I only got one lot of tickets each time despite bidding for loads

anyone else going to any of those?

Interesting that i didn't get the silver tickets i applied for for the Ind v SL game - maybe silver is more in demand than the family stand

Nice did you opt in the supersub thing if so shouldn't you have gotten tickets already for the game.

Thankfully all india games + final were not available otherwise would have sent an email to ICC for the awful ballot system and the fact the website crashed 2 days ago on the edgebaston exclusive window for tickets.
Didn't even manage to get tickets since I gave up at 11.30, window opened at 10 am.

Red if you not going to any of the game, any chance you can sell them to me lol.

probably after new years.
think they still need the IPL schedule and other international games to be announced first.
