Wade has not had an impact in tasmania yet. I can not see him being selected. Nevill and Carey have done nothing as well. :panic Is there anyone else, anyone at all. Whats Ronchi doing now.............

I notice M Marsh has made some runs, though it looks like he has not been bowling. His Brother has been consitent this season. 5 50's and 1 100 in all forms of the game. Cartwright has not done much, less than the Marsh brothers. Slappsie played one game, did nought. Stonis also done nought in his few games back but had an OK tour of India. Whilst T Head has done a fraction more, but has also not done enough to suggest selection.

Of all the names mentioned batting at 6, the two best performing players so far this season are the Marsh Brothers......... With every player that has been tried at 6, its a scary thought that m Marsh might well be the best option we have there at present :scared I would not be suprised though to see the selectors go for S Marsh though. They chap does have 4 test tons. The mind boggles...

As for the keeping position. There really is no answer at present. If the top order fails again then Starc will be expected to bail Australia out, not number 6 or 7. Starc has a better batting average than M Marsh and Neville, and only just behind Maxwell, Cartwright, Wade.

I also think Renshaws place is in question. he will need some runs in the first 2 tests to keep his place in the team.

This might be the first time in a long time that both teams end up chopping and changing personnel, judging by yuppie's post.

I suppose it will all depend on how bad England are (they'll change over and over without doubt) as to whether Aus follow suit

ENgland's side looks weaker than the one that lost 5-0 there last time.

indeed it does.

perhaps Aus will feel able to stick with an underperforming team in the knowledge that it would be extremely hard to underperform England.

then again.... Trent Copeland exposed the old Aussie frailties against the sideways movement in his match... and there will be a pink baller which may exaggerate that, so perhaps England can cobble together some sort of win to put Aus under a little more pressure than last time
