TBH think cricviz said yesterday that the ball seamed 5% more than average for a day 1 wicket in SA.
So I think if you bowled in the right area you could get wickets in the bucket loads.
Although do agree with the statement that both teams didn't bat that well but not sure teams these days bat well when the ball is turning, seaming or swinging anymore.
they don't seem to be able to survive and score of them like the batsman in the past use to.
didn't Tendulkar and Dravid score 600 odd at headingley and that was meant to be a bowling friendly deck as well.
from 92/7 reaching 200 was impressive considering the conditions and bowling attack.
if india do lose the test they lost it on the hour session they had batting yesterday, reckon from what I saw today if india didn't lose many wickets today they would have probably gotten a lead today or at least matched SA total.
