This is the thread on which we'll be voting for our picks for the best in world cricket in the past year.

Just as a reminder, here are the categories that can be voted for.

Votes please from the completion of the Boxing Day Tests, until 7 January when I'll announce the winners.

There was a good turnout last year. Hope for the same again in 2018.

Thanks for running this again, AC.

Can I put in a bid that the women's cricketer category be expanded to three this year? With so many good performances in the world cup plus the Ashes, having just one seems quite restrictive.

Thinking about who I'd nominate this year, and to me there haven't been many real standouts. Lots of players who've done well, but compared to last year's winners, not a lot of real 'wow' factor. Perhaps I'm just getting a bit jaded.

Maybe also moron of the year, anti-spirit of cricket award etc. All go to the same individual.

For that one I would just put big 3 they all really the same.
India, England and Australia don’t exactly play in the right spirit.
