The latest craze is the sweep shot. England have been practising in the nets to the fast bowlers hoping to sweep England to victory in the Ashes. Well Mal Loye did sweep 90mph Brett Lee.

The ECB's newspaper, the Daily Fudge, has revealed that the ECB rejected the T10 in favour of the hundred because too much time in T10 is wasted recovering the balls from behind the stands, and they were worried that this extra time consideration would prevent matches being played on a school night

The Welsh Assembly have come out in support of the Hundred, over concerns that a T10 competition would see so many balls hit into the River Taff that they would become a flooding risk.

CA have resisted replacing the stumps with an esky, but it is tipped that, with the right sponsor for it, it will be a goer next year.

CA say that playing the BBL using painted stumps against walls of the main stands still makes more sense than the hundred
