World cup 2019 insane world cup ticket prices

Tickets prices have been out but been quietly been looked over at.

considering Gold tickets are the most popular and most common tickets available all the price here would be based on the gold prices.

Opening games 150 pounds
No england game below 95 pounds for the gold tickets.
England vs Bangladesh/Afghanistan tickets are 40 pounds for bronze.

to actually attend all the england games it would cost 1140 pounds likewise for the india games.

Final is 295 for gold and 195 pounds for silver.
the final is officially the most expensive cricket game ever.

Absolute disgrace considering ICC have always priced the ticket cheap so more people attend them and the stadium are actually packed.
even the 2 past icc champions trophy and the 2009 world cup t20 was cheap in england.
Why have they suddenly become like ECB and priced it way too much.

really is taking a piss considering I planned 8-9 years to actually see every single india game at the world cup, which isn't going to happen now.

Thanks for posting that Doc. That is pretty heavy! I don't think I'll be tempted by those prices.

don't think anyone would be really.
be interesting to see how the demand for the India and England games go now.

the scary part is that the touts will snap the tickets with ease considering the ticket system shambles.

the pre pre priority ballot open next week was meant to be only county member, icc and full member people but anyone that registers with ICC get access to it so basically it is a public ballot really since nothing stop anyone getting access to it.
After that ballot we have a public ballot no idea what the actual difference it is to the one before that and then after that we have the general sale on first come first serve basis.

basically touts got 2 windows to get tickets, with the insane ticket prices they actually got higher chances of snapping them up.
Wouldn't surprise me if grounds are half empty even though most tickets are sold.
quite possible not that many people would be willing to pay big money for the games.

makes me sick really considering you expect the world cup to be fairly priced.
TBH I am quite happy england not having the football world cup in town anymore, would be a disgrace if that get stupid prices as well.

Although I am tempted to go at the NZ vs Australia game at lords in the platinum ticket since it would be the only opportunity to watch the game at the lords pavilion.

Hate the world cup schedule, it is an another disgrace india not at lords.

Ticket prices for next years World Cup are an absolute shambles, massive hike in prices compared to the 2015 edition. For the group stages in New Zealand, I paid $20NZD (£10.50) for neutral games and $40NZD (£21) for matches involving NZ.

To put into perspective - England v New Zealand at Durham £55. I didn't even pay that for a 4 day test pass in Auckland and Christchurch (Day 5 was free) and less than half that for the Dunedin and Christchurch ODIs.

I'd rather save my money and go on the England tour to South Africa.

They are very expensive compared to the Champions Trophy prices but it's not much of a surprise. The cheap/standard seats are still cheaper than usual England ODI ticket prices though.

doubt 40% of south asian folks would buy world cup tickets.
Some interesting stats coming out from ECB today.
