Postby The Professor » Wed Aug 28, 2019 10:11 pm

The hotly anticipated annual meeting between Singapore Women and Malaysia Women started today ( :hide )

The competition has been running since 2014 and Malaysia have won each one. Previous tournaments have been 6T20Is but this time out it is just three.

Malaysia won the first game today by 22 runs, despite Singapore's GK Diviya (45*) being the top scorer in the match.

Malaysia can take the cup back to Kuala Lumpur - the streets will be lined four or five deep for the victory parade.

The captain, Winifred Duraisingham, can hold her head up high with a captains knock of 40* to help Malaysia to their total of 92.

Tomorrow's final game will be a dead rubber.
