Yesterday saw the start of the new qualification competition for the World Cup in India. Two pools of six teams - Leagues A and B - will play in annual tournaments until 2021 with the top sides in each league progressing to the 2022 Cricket World Cup Play-Off tournament.

Oman beat Jersey yesterday whilst today Italy won a cracking game against Kenya.

Nikolai Smith got a century for the Italians as they eased past Kenya's decent 210 all out.

In the other game Hong Kong beat Bermuda.

In today's main match Uganda narrowly beat Kenya in another big scoring game.

Ronak Patel's 86 was the difference as Uganda chased down Kenya's total of 253 with three balls remaining.

In today's other match Hong Kong beat Jersey.

Today's two winning team's top the table with two wins out of two.

The men are starting to become separated from the boys a bit in this competition as Jersey trounced Italy to mark a clear divide between the top three (Uganda, Hong Kong and Jersey) and the bottom half (Italy, Kenya and Bermuda)

Jersey rode on a century from Nick Greenwood to set up a total of 280 - the third highest score of the competition. Italy were all out for 158. Greenwood's century was the third in the competition and the second score of 102*.
