So after Sri Lanka turn over South Africa in their own backyard, West Indies comfortably post their biggest total batting first in over 12 months with
135-7 against England
South Africa were all fingers and thumbs chasing a fairly modest total yesterday, so lets see if England can do better. 137 isn't the biggest score in the world, but it might do if England are off their game a bit

no worries for England, they're bombing along. need 11 runs with just the 7 overs to get them in.
Good to see, because I have a feeling they started slow last time and got mugged in the first game. Ended up finishing second in the group and got knocked out in the SF by a washout because they didn't finish top of the group

Knight brought up her 1500th T20I run with a single, but then thumped the ball over long on for six and match, leaving Nat S-B stranded on 1999 career runs
easy win for England. No sign of any nerves

NZ
about as disastrous a start as it's possible to get when chasing a big total

NZ get an absolute pasting.... lining up to throw their lower order wickets at Gardner who finishes with 5-12. If Jess Kerr hadn't thumped a six the ball before she got out Gardner would have had figures of 5-6
97 run victory for Australia

India put under a bit of pressure by Pakistan. Did it comfortably enough in the end, but needed some late big hitting by Ghosh, because at 93-3 India were wandering a bit

umpire cocked up the 7th over for India, seemingly, allowing a 7th ball to be bowled in the over which was hit for 4. It also appears that this is not the first time for this particular umpire.
Thank goodness it hasn't happened at something big like a world cup........ oh wait!

Bangladesh started brightly, then seemed to run out of steam on their way to a below par 126-8
SL reply was almost the opposite. They lost early wickets including that of their best player to find themselves 25-3, but then settled and knocked off the runs without further loss, disproving any suspicions that they are a one woman team.
There will be sterner tests for SL, but they've won their first two and given themselves an opportunity to nab a SF slot

80-2 to 105 all out with overs to spare
pretty catastrophic. At one point they lost 6 wickets for 15 runs in 16 balls

Alice Capsey is not hanging about. 14 balls faced and she's hit 7 of them to the boundary
