Thanks!

Go to archives and then year and then domestic season.

Earlier this year amit asked:

"Meanwhile Midge takes 5er alongwith his hundred. When was last time that happened in Sheffield Shield?"

At the time I had my usual ineffectual poke at the internet and failed. Does anyone know, or have any means of finding out?

does anyone know how far it is from the Nottingham tram system to trent bridge? I've located a hotel right next to a tram stop and assumed that the tram would go as far as TB. Seemingly this is not the case.

I was wondering if any of the more knowledgeable cricket fans on here could tell me anything about the Australian Aboriginals side, I saw them play an invitational side down in Cheshire back in the late 80s and I was wondering if anyone knew more about the side?

I know 2 chaps were sent to cricket school in India. I know the Indigenous team came second in the Arafura Games. And I know that NSW won the Imparja Cup so in your face non-existent Queensland CMS members! That's it. :coat

I'm pretty sure that Dan Christian played and starred in the main indigenous tournament of the last season, the Imparja Cup 2010. Edit: He also captained a touring Indigenous squad to England in 2009.

TB is a mile from the railway station.

If you walk through the Meadows, which is the most direct way, be on your guard a bit, as it's gangland. And kids'll throw rocks at you if they're in the mood. It's a better bet to stick to the main roads.

All the buses that go past the train station go to TB. £1.70. No change given.

I've just noticed this, MP... thank you.
668 showed me the way from TB to station (I kept my eyes screwed shut as we walked past Hooters, btw)
It was only a 15 min walk, which was a lot less than I thought it was going to be.

On the final day, foot was a bit iffy, so I took advantage of the £3.40 tram and bus day ticket, which was only an extra 20p on the price of the tram ticket!

So, now that we don't have runners anymore, does anyone know who as a player scored the most runs for teammates as a runner? I have no idea, just wondering...

There's an interesting and quite amusing article here, BN; I read it a while back, but managed to find it again:

http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/co ... 21881.html

Folley and Bumble seem to have done pretty well, but I don't know if Folley's is a record.
